  2. I was afraid I’d have to drive downstate to find out what happened, if only to get a plot for my next detective novel. Don’t scare us like that again.

  6. Sehr geEhrter FFE

Over at Herr AerChie’s Place, we have missed your efforts to secure the inFamous Hat for America

It’s timely for you to enter this week, now that my British attempt has failed so lamentably

    Your obedient servant etc

  7. Solar panels give cleaner energy but run-off is still a pollution problem, that is why I like it when a condo building puts green roofing in. If we cannot stop the govt from paving every thing, at least some private citizens offset the effect & it should be a big tax break. It also ought to be illegal for companies to sell lawn treatments that screw up the ground water just so John Homeowner can have his perfect no-weed lawn.

  8. Excuse me, that was a post intended for a local discussion group whose window was open at the same time in my browser — I’m having a groggy morning. I know your roof is green, Herr Editor, figuratively speaking.

  9. I simply assumed that Obama had conscripted your services and placed you on his transition team.

I trust that everything is sorted out and that you are well.

  10. Did my pictures bring you back to life? HA! Just kidding…although I’ll have to compare dates.

    Here’s a song for you:

Welcome back, your dreams were your ticket out.
Welcome back to that same old place that you laughed about.
Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they’re turned around.

Who’d have thought they’d lead ya (Who’d have thought they’d lead ya)
Back here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we’ve got him on the spot,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.
