One of those songs that always put me in the summer mood back when I was in elementary and junior high school. Still does, too . . .

So did and does this . . .

  2. Should have been at my wedding, dude.
A friend of mine sang, “Ribbon in the sky” and “All in love is fair” better than Stevie (well, just as good as anyway)
    Friggin’ awesome.
If ever you should come to Boston, please let me know.
We have to check out some music together.
    Awesome musical post.

  7. “that’s the most violent book I’ve ever read”

  8. What do you call Stevie Wonder playing tennis?

    Endless love.

Do you remember Stevie playing tennis on SNL? Many moons ago…

  9. I remember Eddie Murhpy talking about driving with Stevie Wonder and saying, “Hey Stevie, you wanna impress me? Take the wheel.”

  11. i ain’t superstitious but i can’t seem to get out of virginia either.

a psychic told me people stuck in virginia have karma with atlantis. bizarre, right?

    Comment by Stiletto — July 18, 2008 @ 1:45 pm

  12. No. Jim Gilmore is bizarre. A connection with Atlantis is merely ‘huh?’

    Comment by Frontier Former Editor — July 18, 2008 @ 1:48 pm

  13. In that case, I must be the last living Atlantean because aside from college, I’ve been here in the Potomac basin for 53 years. (There is a story that they were the original redheads, too.)

Nursemyra’s joke reminds me of a limerick.

There was a young lady named Gail
Whose pussy was offered for sale,
    And on her behind
For the sake of the blind
The prices were liste in Braille.

Is that too rude for the lunchtime crowd?

    Comment by sledpress — July 18, 2008 @ 1:56 pm

  14. I paid got money for that “huh.” Never again.

    Comment by Stiletto — July 18, 2008 @ 1:59 pm

  15. Excuse me, that’s good.

    Comment by Stiletto — July 18, 2008 @ 1:59 pm

  16. Talk about unfortunate positioning. Never post a comment about paying good money after someone has posted a comment about selling pussy.

    Comment by Stiletto — July 18, 2008 @ 2:02 pm

  17. I think you’ve left Herr Editor speechless.

    Comment by Stiletto — July 18, 2008 @ 2:02 pm

  18. Someone was selling pussy in an unfortunate position?

    Comment by sledpress — July 18, 2008 @ 2:08 pm

  19. SP: Nowhere nearly rude enough

Stil: I’ll hold the soothsayer while you get your money back.

I grew up in Tidewater and never had any sense that my home was underwater, except for those hurricanes . . .

  20. Only speechless because I’m eating a plate of brat while trying to keep up

    Comment by Frontier Former Editor — July 18, 2008 @ 2:10 pm

  21. I’m not touching that one. Your brat, that is.

    Comment by Stiletto — July 18, 2008 @ 7:43 pm

  22. Have you mustard up the courage yet?

    Comment by sledpress — July 21, 2008 @ 10:39 am

    Comment by Former Frontier Editor — July 21, 2008 @ 1:05 pm
