Goodbye Karl . . . you f***ing scumbag

Filed under: dumbasses, politics, scumbags — Frontier Former Editor @ 7:40 am

My relief at seeing Karl Rove leave is the same as when one sees a flock of buzzards finish off a piece of road kill and leave: they’re gone, but you’re still left with a smelly, greasy spot dotted with bones and fur.

The wreckage that Rove has left should be grounds enough for him to spend the rest of his life in community service. I don’t mean picking up litter and doing a public service announcement. I mean having to endure the consequences of every shitty little stunt and shitty big stunt he’s pulled on all Americans. He made sure that the White House was an ideological fortress against all Americans except those who gave generously to the Bush campaigns and who shared in the concept of a disciplined political party last seen in the writings of Vladimir Il’yich Ulanov.

I certainly won’t congratulate the Democratic Party on their new opening, because they had a chance to make a stand four and a half years ago by refusing to support entry into a purely colonial adventure. That would have been the place and time to support the troops and to draw a line against Rove, Cheney and the band of thugs that a Bush fils dynasty has left as its legacy to the American people.

But, ultimately, I have to give a big GFY to myself and my fellow citizens for not doing what had to be done – hoisting Bush and his little band of string-pullers on the political equivalent of a rail and sending them far, far away.

Goodbye Karl. Go spend some quality time with your family, while all our families spend some quality time among the social, economic and political wreckage you helped create. God knows Shrub didn’t have the brains to do it on his own.

  1. Unfortunately they will leave their legacy behind.

  3. @G. Eagle:

Suggestions towards the achievement of that worthy goal have been made on this and other blogs. Most of them involve Bush and his cronies, rails, some tar and feathers, and a swift and meaningful goodbye.

  4. That blog post, my friend, is a thing of beauty and a joy forever. You should be proud. And Rove would be scared, but he knows you’re more of a gentleman than I am a lady.
