Even I’m a sucker for a dark one in pup’s clothing . . .

We did it last Friday, and I waited a week to see if we regretted it.

We went to the pound to get a pup and found this in one of the cages

Not as much as I thought I would, and she’s no more of a handful than North Korea.

Meet Cocoa, or probably soon to be renamed Taz in deference to her appearance while on a leash. She’s almost as long as a loaf of bread now

  3. I love those floppy ears. They say owners look like their dogs – how are your ears? I know I need not ask Herr G eaGle as he has no ears.

  5. M. Eagle – Often the beast and master become interdependent

Anna – she and Bruiser would probably get along quite well – infant dervishes often do.

Archie – Maybe not the ears, but since I haven’t had time for a haircut in three weeks . . . . .

Good point, Nurse. We’re talking one of those atrocious American white bread loaves – @ 18-22″

  6. You’ve obviously got this backwards: she’s the one who owns you.

    Congratulations on your enslavement.

I amy not have ears – but to the dismay of the local mice, I do have an admirable Beak … and talons, in such good shape (thanks to the Good Lord who made them) despie the absence in the UK of Good NHS Dentists – another example of how well our New Labour Government (may they rule forever) is doing

    Yrs ever

  10. She’s adorable! Leave it to you to name a white dog Cocoa!

  11. She’s officially Taz now – when we walk her, she grabs the leash in her mouth as to give the appearance that she’s dragging us around. And we think, according to some photos of Lab puppies we saw, that we may have a golden retriever mix on our hands. Guess I better invest in a butcher shop.

  12. I have some bad news for you: there may be some Border Collie in there, which would explain the Taz spazzing.

    Need more puppy pictures!
