What’s the difference between the Spencer Davis Group . . .

and the Chicago Transit Authority?

It’s obvious. More cowbell.

  1. Despite those nice young men for Illinois being very musical, they just don’t have a Steve Winwood, do they? So I wouldn’t have bothered.
Is your return going to be more regular? There is a shortage of loonies out here, you know.

    • Agree. More cowbell doesn’t make up for no Stevie.

  2. Ah, but Chicago Transit Authority had Robert Lamm, which is like having Steve Winwood without a giant Adam’s apple or a successful career with Traffic and Blind Faith and . . . . oh never mind.

  6. I’ve downloaded several versions on iTunes. I’ve always been jealous that you guys have so many cool renditions, while the best we’ve come up with is the lame ass wimpy “I am Woman” by Helen Reddy.

    Ugh.

In fact, I thought about using I’m a Man in a future bodybuilding routine but I don’t think that would play out too well.
