This made it into our local paper too. Newspapers sheesh!
Talk about convergence eh? It’s like those joke e-mails that show up in everybody’s mailbox at the same time…and Blogs.
It makes ya wonder how much longer I am going to keep buying my paper. I see the same info on every TV newscast and magazine..the same sh*t swirling around. ..and it has a shelf life measured in hours now.
I am always amazed at how some people, like little Helen, can overcome obstacles. I would be such a miserable, cantakerous, SOB that..wait Deepak Chopra is on PBS. Must be pledge week.
Maybe I should go write under my new nom de blog Sixpack Chopper. He is an Appalachian mystic who is ready to enlighten the world.

Okay, but did you think about putting in context? Because it’s taken me until today to figure out what the hell this was; linking the pic to the source would have clued me in ages ago.
I mean, how many living people would recognize Helen Keller, particularly as a child?
