Not bad, except it would have been cooler if Levar Burton wore those Geordie LaForge goggles cut out of a cross section of air filter and tried to phaser Larry Blackmon’s codpiece.
I’ve always said that the mark of a good song is its ability to maintain its integrity no matter who covers it or when they do it. Scottish hard rockers Gun, former Spice Girl Mel B. and Nu-metal freakshow KoЯn have all put their brand on this song (along with about a dozen more artists of which I’m aware) and I love each one!
Larry Blackmon and company are right up there with Parliament/Funkadelic and Sly and the Family Stone as far as I’m concerned!
