I have to admit – finding GoogleEarth was much like prowling around in the family attic and finding a photo album you forgot had existed.
Below is a GE shot of my childhood home – Royal Air Force Station St. Eval. The old airfield, taxiways, hangar pads and hardstands can be seen to the west, while the old base housing complex can be seen on the northeastern side of the main road.
My old school (Trevisker) is marked . Our house’s back garden abutted on the school’s main field. As far as I can tell, not all that much has changed in the last 40 years.
